Community Grants for Change

The NSW Government is supporting the primary prevention of domestic, family, and sexual violence (DFSV) at the local level through annual grants to communities across the state.

The NSW Government’s 16 Days of Activism 2026 Grant Program offers grants of $2,500 to $5,000 for community-led activities that raise awareness of and help prevent domestic, family and sexual violence.

Projects must address at least one of the four gendered drivers of violence identified in Our Watch’s Change the Story framework.

Projects may include:

  • Community events
  • Workshops
  • Awareness campaigns
  • Public installations
  • Activities that promote gender equality and respectful relationships

Key dates

  • Applications close 4.00pm, Monday 31 August 2026
  • Activities must be delivered during 16 Days of Activism campaign (25 November–10 December 2026)
