The 2024 Shoalhaven Business Awards were held at the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre on Friday 16 August 2024. This year’s theme was ‘Sparkle & Shine’. The 15 categories for this year’s awards included Business of the Year, Outstanding Business Leader, Young Business Leader and Outstanding Employee, Excellence in Large, Small, and Micro Business, Outstanding New Business, Excellence in Innovation, Employer of Choice, Excellence in Community Organisation, Visitor Experience, Sustainability and Inclusion.
Shoalhaven Business Chamber President, John Lamont said the event was a great success.
“This is always a spectacular event and 2024 did not disappoint. There were so many deserving winners and now our local businesses get the opportunity to shine at a regional level as they are now finalists in the Illawarra Business Awards which has their Gala Night on Friday 13 September, 2024. I would also like to recognise the many finalists in the room. It is an achievement to be a finalist and we see each and every one of you as winners.”
Shoalhaven Business Chamber Events Manager, Alison Henry said it was a great opportunity for businesses to celebrate their achievements over the past 12 months…
“The Gala opened with an electric performance from the Under 16’s dance troupe from Danceworks South Coast and finished with local band Soultonic. And I can assure you the dance floor was full! We are lucky in the Shoalhaven to have such great businesses to collaborate with & showcase. Hoorah Events created a sparkling vibe from the sparkle carpet to the shimmer snapshot spot and this sold-out event enabled all of our businesses to celebrate what they have achieved over the past 12 months with their teams, family & friends.”
The Shoalhaven Business Chamber would like to congratulate all the finalists and judges for making this event such a success and a special thanks to all the sponsors.
