About the team
The Tourism and Economic Development team sits within City Futures Directorate at Shoalhaven City Council.
The Economic Development team develops, implements, coordinates, and maintains a strategy to increase Economic Development outcomes in the City of Shoalhaven and to deliver strategic insight into the state of the local business sector.
The Tourism team operates as the regions Destination Marketing Organisation. In some other regions, a membership body takes on this responsibility. However, at Shoalhaven City Council, we support everyone in the region who works in the visitor economy. The Tourism Team consists of a marketing team, visitors service team and event support program.
