The third round of the NSW Electric Vehicle Fast Charging Grants will support charge point operators to build, own and operate fast and ultra-fast charging stations across 140 zones in NSW, including Shoalhaven.
The NSW Government objectives for the grants are to:
- Overcome range anxiety through development of a broad, visible and accessible fast charging network across NSW
- Ensure connectivity between metropolitan and regional areas
- Future-proof the EV charging network past 2030
- Maximise grid support and reduce scope 2 emissions
- Ensure funding supports projects that would not have otherwise happened
Who can apply?
- an entity incorporated under the Corporations Act 2001(Cth)
- a state-owned corporation or subsidiary of an Australian state or territory owned corporation
- a local government or council in NSW
Types of projects funded under this grant
An eligible project is a newly constructed fast and/or ultra-fast charging station(s).
Grants available from $150,000 to $15,000,000
