Community Wellbeing Grants Program
Shoalhaven City Councils Community Wellbeing Grants Program are now open and offers support for local community events.
At the meeting held on 29 April 2025, Council resolved to reaffirm and adopt the Community Donations Policy, which has now been renamed to the Community Wellbeing Grants Policy (MIN25.198). You can view other minor changes to the Policy in the Council Report.
Applications will be assessed internally by the Grants Assessment Panel and then submitted to the elected Council for consideration for funding. Once the application period closes, there will be no funding available until the following financial year. To be considered for funding, please review the policy and eligibility criteria found on Council’s webpage, submit your application form via the online form with supporting documentation by Tuesday 24 June 2025.

Grant Writing Tips for Community Event Organisers

- Follow Submission Guidelines – Adhere to the funder’s submission requirements, including format, length, and deadlines. Double-check for any specific instructions.
- Proofread and Edit – Review your proposal for clarity, coherence, and grammatical accuracy. Consider having a colleague or fresh set of eyes review it as well.
