Following the outstanding success of last year’s inaugural Go Grand campaign, five major local government areas across New South Wales’ South Coast and Southern Highlands have once again joined forces to launch Go Grand V2: a collaborative regional tourism campaign designed to drive visitation during the winter period and support local tourism operators across the iconic Grand Pacific Drive.
Running throughout winter/spring 2026, the campaign brings together the Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Wollongong, Shellharbour, Kiama, Shoalhaven and the Southern Highlands to inspire travellers to explore more of the region through one seamless touring experience.
The inaugural Go Grand campaign delivered exceptional results, generating a digital reach of more than 4 million people and over 4,000 qualified visitor leads, demonstrating the power of regional collaboration in growing the visitor economy. Building on this success, Go Grand V2 will feature an expanded digital marketing campaign, compelling destination content, social media activity and a major consumer competition encouraging visitors to discover the region’s diverse experiences.
The campaign showcases the region under four key themes; Grand Experiences, Grand Flavours, Grand Nature and Grand Stays. Highlighting everything from coastal adventures and wellness escapes to award-winning food and wine, boutique accommodation and unforgettable nature experiences.
Tracey Pascoe, Project Lead for Go Grand and Business Development Manager at Destination Wollongong, said the campaign demonstrates the strength of destinations working together to achieve greater outcomes for local tourism businesses.
