Grants available up to $4Million to support Agricultural businesses

This funding opportunity has been shared local business chamber network along with Councils Economic Development Manager. The program requires a 50% co-contribution for all projects.

The NSW Government has launched the Agriculture Industries Innovation and Growth Program to strengthen the agriculture sector through innovation and technology adoption. With $25Million in funding, the program aims to accelerate the uptake of new technologies and equipment that improve productivity, supply chain resilience, and sustainability.

Key objectives include enabling access to new export markets, reducing emissions, and supporting structural adaptation in regional industries. Priority areas include future fuels, plant-based proteins, agtech, and other innovations that enhance competitiveness and sustainability.

Applicants must be businesses, organisations, or cooperatives operating in the agriculture sector within regional NSW. Eligible projects include those that adopt innovative technology or equipment to improve supply chain efficiency, enable new export opportunities, and/or reduce emissions. Applicants are encouraged to demonstrate partnerships with growers and primary producers. Only one application per applicant is permitted.

Must commence within 6 months of funding deed execution and be completed within 4 years.
