The NSW Government Uptown Program has expanded into regional NSW this financial year and Huskisson has successfully secured the Year 1 seed grant of $200,000 to grow visitation, strengthen trade and build long term economic impact for local business. A primary objective in Year 1 is the development of the Huskisson brand and communications platform, positioning the town for future economic impact initiatives in collaboration with the Office of the 24 Hour Economy Commissioner, Investment NSW, Business Events Sydney, Destination NSW, Shoalhaven City Council and other collaborative partners.
Wiltshire + Dimas has been appointed as District Coordinator. The directors divide their time between Jervis Bay and Sydney and are long term locals with strong ties to the region
Working across strategy, branding, marketing and partnerships, our role is to unify the precinct, elevate the profile of Huskisson as a destination, and deliver coordinated campaigns, events and storytelling that convert attention into customers for local operators.
