Let’s get our Seniors connected, engaged and active!
Funding is available to run events for the NSW Seniors Festival between 3 -16 March 2025, with grants of up to $5,000 on offer for local community programs and activities.
The NSW Seniors Festival Grant Program provides funding to not-for-profit community organisations to run events, activities and programs that enable older Australians to remain active, healthy, and engaged. Example projects include morning teas, movie matinees, cyber security information sessions, health and wellbeing fairs, walking basketball, bike riding tours, water aerobics, dance classes, nature walks, art workshops, gardening demonstrations, technology training and there is nothing wrong with a good old morning tea in the park with a picnic rug!
Events and projects must be free, located within NSW and open to all seniors. Applications are encouraged from Shoalhaven community groups.
Closing date for applications is 5.00pm on 6 September 2024.
