The Australian Government has launched the Small Business Cyber Resilience Service, helping small businesses to increase their digital literacy and cyber security.
The Service will provide free cyber security advice and recovery support to small businesses who:
- have 19 (or less) full time equivalent employees (not inclusive of the business owner); and
- are registered in Australia and currently trading, with an active ABN.
Available in both regional and metropolitan areas, the Service will be accessible across Australia via phone on 1800 595 170 or through the online form at IDCARE.
The Small Business Cyber Resilience Service helps small businesses to:
- build cyber resilience
- recover after a cyber incident.
The service can help your business by:
- working one on one with you to develop a tailored plan to improve your small business’s cyber security
- recommending specific actions, tools and guidance best suited to your small business’s risk, situation and capability
- providing practical steps you can take to recover from a cyber incident
- providing case management support, including mental health support, following an incident
- referring you to additional support services where required.
