October is Small Business Month, celebrating the immense contribution of small businesses to economies and livelihoods across the region and state.

To help businesses connect, learn and upskill there are a range of programs and events available, but online and in person.

The Small Business Commission is holding a series of expos across the state for businesses to connect with government agencies and larger organisations, as well as a month-long program of virtual events.

Local online market place, Food Markies, have partnered with the NSW Small Business Commissioner to provide specialised webinars for migrant entrepreneurs from diverse cultural backgrounds across Small Business Month. From support available to branding and funding, the program will culminate in a virtual networking event, connecting participants with local communities and resources to encourage collaboration and growth.
