Thanks to West Nowra Rural Fire Brigade, the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre (SEC) in Nowra will welcome Santa and his red fire truck this Thursday evening so that local families can celebrate the festive season.
The SEC is currently radiating a red and green glow thanks to special flood lighting, with Christmas lights, Santa and his sleigh providing a festive sparkle to the civic area. With plenty of parking and a grassy forecourt for the kids to play, the location is the perfect place for families to pull off the highway and get their Christmas pics.
Swing by on your way to late night shopping in the Nowra CBD, after work, or on your way to your holiday destination. Grab a drink at the SEC bar, and pick up a copy of the brand new 2026 Shoalhaven Travel Guide, filled with great ideas for enjoying the region.
Mayor Patricia White thanked the RFS’s Santa for making time in his busy schedule to meet local kids, families and even pets.
“The SEC is the perfect backdrop for taking photos and making memories,” Cr White said.
“The arrival of Santa and his red fire engines, lollies and good cheer will be a fun outing for locals who might be on their way into Nowra for some Christmas shopping or a meal,” she said.
“Bring your cameras and your smiles, the lights are a must-see for people who want to capture a magical Christmas memory for their kids or their four-legged friends.”
