Who are we?
The Shoalhaven City Council grants team consists of business development, marketing, and economic development specialists.
Our team has experience searching for funding opportunities, reading through eligibility criteria, assessing grant applications, advising grants administrators, and submitting grant applications. We work closely with Tourism, Events, Economic Development and Visitor Services at council, focusing on delivering the best outcomes for community.
We focus on sharing our knowledge and supporting local businesses who wish to explore funding opportunities to achieve their strategic objectives. We can be contacted at grants@shoalhaven.nsw.gov.au.
What do we do?
The team research and align funding opportunities for Shoalhaven City Council to support its strategic plans.
As part of that process, we also aim to highlight interesting funding opportunities for local Shoalhaven businesses and community groups.
We will spotlight interesting grants and funding programs as we find them and proactively alert local business chambers to these opportunities. As we bring you the most useful information about grants, we will also be available, so that you can ask questions, seek support letters and guidance on your applications. We will provide regular tips and tricks to writing funding submissions.
Grant databases
There are many websites and grants databases which our team utilise as well as subscribing to the latest newsletters from various federal and state government departments.
We build relationships with funding administrators, and we network with NSW regional stakeholders to keep informed of the latest funding programs.
Our team will filter and publish various opportunities that we think are suitable for local Shoalhaven industries. Below are some of websites we refer to frequently.
