The annual Shoalhaven Travel Guide is here for 2026! Available online and in print now from our Nowra and Ulladulla Visitor Information Centres, and is making its way to businesses across the region. Be sure to keep an eye out for the new publication when you’re out and about, or download a copy here. While we’re doing our best to get them out to all their usual haunts, it will take a little while to cover the full region. If you’d like to come and collect a box or two for your business, please reach out to the Visitor Information Centre to arrange a time (02) 4421 0778 or tourism@shoalhaven.nsw.gov.au.
With the busy season just around the corner, now is the time to double check your digital presence and make sure your details are up to date for visitors to contact you, and to visit when you’re actually open. ATDW, Google Business, social media and even your front door signs.
We move into our two key summer campaigns of Conscious Traveller and 100 Beach Challenge to encourage visitors to explore more than just Shoalhaven’s hotspots, reminding them we have beautiful beaches up and down the coast, and to leave the region as beautiful as they found it. The Conscious Traveller PDF is available to download, and can be printed out and displayed at your business or holiday house.
You may have received an email or communication from Destination Shoalhaven as they build another regional directory. A few of you have called wondering if this is us, but no this is not us – we will never ask you for money for a listing. The team have a background in marketing for the Sutherland Shire with Shiretalk and have recently been working with the Sussex Inlet Chamber. Whilst we wish them all the best, we want to confirm that they are a different entity to Council’s Tourism Marketing team. Please contact brett@shiretalk.com.au if you would like to know more about their product.
Wishing you all a very safe and happy holiday season. Our team will be back on deck from Monday 5 January 2026.
