Tourism Marketing Update – March 2026

Summer and shoulder season has been booming and Easter is on our doorstep. Forward bookings drop off in May and June, so we will be pushing out campaigns in autumn and winter and looking to work with Destination NSW for wider promotion. Across the region, a vibrant calendar of events is emerging to make the most of the long weekend. From the much loved Blessing of the Fleet Festival to the Blak Markets, with an array of foodie, cultural and creative experiences in between. Our friendly Visitor Services team will be out and about delivering Visitor Guides and brochures. If you’d like a delivery please email us and let us know.

Our autumn wellness campaign is now in market, tapping into one of tourism’s strongest emerging trends. Designed to inspire visitors to retreat, rewild and reset, the campaign invites people to experience our region’s exceptional natural beauty paired with premium and luxury offerings that make it the perfect destination for an autumn escape. It’s not too late to be involved. If you have a new experience, a refreshed product, or something you feel should be considered for inclusion, please get in touch with us via email.

Kristy is heading to Melbourne for the Destination Australia Conference this week and is one of the only NSW Marketers invited to the prior day’s RTO (Regional Tourism Organisation) forum with the TA team. She will be building valuable industry connections and gaining insights into global markets — and will be looking forward to sharing key learnings with us all on her return.
