The Shoalhaven Visitor Centre team have been delighted to see a significant increase in travellers from overseas over the last month, particularly those from Europe and Asia, taking extended holidays in our region. Many visitors are showing a keen interest in exploring our rich historical and cultural sites, indulging in our diverse dining experiences, and enjoying our scenic cycling, walks, and hikes. Interestingly, there’s been a noticeable preference recently for hotel and motel accommodation over camping, reflecting a desire for comfort and convenience.

Our team have been busy on the road delivering the Shoalhaven travel and activity guides and had a fantastic day at Berry Markets supporting local businesses and promoting the area and are looking forward to catching up with what’s new and improved with operators in our upcoming famils.

The team were also on site when the Today Show visited Ulladulla (pictured) in the lead up to the Easter Long Weekend. It was great to see the community come out to support, as well as showcase some of the wonderful businesses on the South Coast.

If you have a new local business or have made improvements or changes and would like a visit from the team to better help us promote your unique experiences, then get in touch on 4421 0778 or via Live chat on www.shoalhaven.com or tourism@shoalhaven.nsw.gov.au.
