The Nowra and Ulladulla Visitor Centres have been pumping with travellers, the majority of which are looking for last minute camping options on their extended road trips. There has also been quite an influx of day visitors from Sydney and Canberra looking to fill their day with our hit list of attractions and activities.
The Shoalhaven Travel Guide has been well received in region again this year and it was fantastic to catch up with so many business owners on our delivery run before the rush of Christmas. If you’d like to be added to our quarterly industry guide deliveries, please let us know.
We had a great run of weather, so our beaches and swimming holes have been given a real workout. With a few days of overcast, showery skies it is been our rainy days brochure that has been helping with ideas. Merchandise sales have been strong for local product and souvenirs and we have had a bumper time with hamper, book and hiking map purchases.
The tourism van has been on site at Berry Markets, Ulladulla Civic Centre and White Sands Park in Huskisson with our pop up Visitor Centre helping local, interstate and international travellers share the love around our region. We will continue to support community events throughout the year so please come over and say hi if you see us out and about.
